BREATHING YOURSELF TO SLEEP

AEinstein Universe SECONDS: BREATHING YOURSELF TO SLEEP
Breathe in! Close your eyes and concentrate only on your breath. Take note of exactly how your breath feels going in and out of your mouth and your nose. Concentrate only on the thoughts of what the breath feels like as it goes in and out of your body, the coolness of the air as it enters your mouth. Continue to do this, repeatedly, thinking only of the breath and what your breath feels like coming in and out of your mouth when you breathe in and out. If your thoughts stray (and they most certainly will), gently, and I repeat gently, bring yourself back to your breath. Do not reprimand yourself for going off on tangents. Just continually bring yourself back to your breath. Even when you have gone for hours, just bring yourself back time and time again. Come back to the breath and how the breath feels going in and out of your mouth and nose. Continue to concentrate only on this. Practice makes perfect. Practice makes sound restful sleep, promise.
This is the a very helpful lesson in mindfulness to aid those who want to fall asleep and just are out of options. This will work! Guaranteed.
